Swimming and water fun

One thing I love about Munich is the many indoor and outdoor swimming pools! There are also playgrounds with water features too. These are great if you love a dirty kid!

I am trying to round up a list of swimming lessons, pools, clubs and the likes in and around Munich. Please feel free to add more.

We're enjoying the club Münchener Wasserfreunde e.V. (6 yr old)

We also loved the lessons with Fr. Klektau in the Hessstr. (4 and over)
both of these programs prefer the parents to leave (Klektau requires it). Again, 4 and over. That little year makes a big difference. I think most programs start at 4, unless you arrange private instruction.

I can also recommend the book 'Water Babies' to help you encourage your children to swim without a 'lesson' feeling.
