*** Michael Dickinson I do painting at the weekends me and my neighbour who is a professional painter at the hotel at the airport

*** Hi Guys, I am an English painter and decorator recentley moved to München with my family. I do mostly painting/decorating/decorative restoration but I can also do various handyman/building jobs if/when I have the time. See my page for some of my work and drop me a PM if you have enquiries. Regards, Andy.

*** Regarding sites like My Hammer and Blauarbeit: More than once we've been disappointed with the craftspeople we found there. I'd venture a guess that in the current low-interest climate, all the good ones have their books full and can name their price; and that with those who end up getting jobs through these sites, there's usually ha reason why they haven't and they can't.

***doido (www.getdoido.com). We are a platform that help expats to find handymen, people to assembly furniture or help with moving in Munich. Currently, we have 120 handymen from all around the world at our platform. You can just post at our page what you are exactly looking for add deadline and budget, then babysitters just simply apply for your task. They have profiles, so you can check their experience and photo before inviting them for an interview :) Just try it here: www.getdoido.comMateusz WarcholinskiCEO & Co-Founder of doido

***Our dishwasher broke, and we called out Delic Elektro to fix it, and they did a great job.We got one of our German friends to call and explain to them the problem and ask for an English-speaking colleague to come to us. They were also able to give us a next-day appointment. The chap who came out knew what the problem was and spoke very good English (thank you!), and although it took two hours, got the dishwasher fixed. Their call out fee is €70.

***I would like to recommend Pedro Fernandez Martin, licensed Industrial Electrician. Over the weekend I used his services (fixed a defective dryer) which was fast and fairly priced. He mentioned he has some extra time on the weekend. He also does installations, repairs and maintenance of electricity and air conditioners, some plumbing, can fix furniture, windows, doors, walls and can also paint. He communicates perfectly in Spanish but his English is ok too. Contact him at 0157 54671683 (Mon-Fri 4pm-6pm, all day Sat) and you can also find him on Facebook under Pedro Fernandez Martin.
