Vegan / Vegetarian Restaurants in Munich (mostly)

• Dean and David's : great veggie and vegan choices, as well as meaty options - it's mostly curries, soups and salads, and all organic. They have a few locations around Munich but the best is in Funfhöffe near Odeonsplatz. They have a lovely outside area to sit down. 
• Cafe vor ort in Neuried is vegetarian and offers some vegan dishes. It's a very nice family place and the food is great and not expensive.
• Yam cafe in Augustenstr is Vegan and they do excellent food! They sell 'raw quality' food also. It's a cafe so you only get a choice of one main, one soup etc but all is yummy.
• Gratitude in Türkenstrasse
• Katzentempel on Türkenstr is completely vegan (they have cats that live in the cafe so only go if you don't have allergies and don't mind cats!)
• Cafe Ignaz and Prinz Myshkin aren't raw or vegan, but they are vegetarian and have some vegan dishes. You can also go to restaurants that serve cuisines that can be easily made vegan, like Lebanese food (try Sababa falafel at the Viktualienmarkt) or Vietnamese food (you can tell them to leave out things like fish sauce).

• The triple veggie Knödel at Wirtshaus in der Au is also great (Bavarian veggie that isn't Käsespätzle)
• In case you guys are on the go and not in the mood for anything fancy try myindigo... Great healthy veg choice w curries rice brown rice n salads.

• Kerala is the best Indian in town for a vegan or otherwise. It's South Indian fare which  is butter/creak free.
• "Kismet" A delicious vegetarian restaurant combining the Northern African cuisines. Kismet is located in the centre of Munich at the Löwengrube 10. website: www.kismet.cc
• Mutter Erde in the Amalienpassage is an organic shop which also offers warm meals around lunch time. Some of them are vegan.
• Boshi has delicious vegan

• there are two Lebanese places that offer very good vegan food, and some excellent raw ones as well. It's near implestrasse (U3 I think) , Beirut Beirut - Falafel & Meza and Manouche
